Update on stepdads broken neck.

As you all know my stepdad has a broken neck and bone cancer was found along with bladder cancer. Well the Drs informed my mom that the cancer has spread over his entire body. They said its no use to try to repair his neck. They want to speak to her Thursday at the hospital. My daughter is flying in Wednesday and her and myself will taking mom to the hospital. Will update after the meeting. Thanks to all of you for the prayers.

Im sorry to hear that, prayers sent. Keep him comfortable and remember him for the good times had. Treating such patients with aggressive measures can be traumatic and not really ideal with the big picture, see it all the time.

Sorry Kenny. I was afraid of that. I had a friend that was in for a check up and stepped off the scale and broke his ankle. That was how they found out he had cancer.

Ok, at this stage, just keep him comfortable and talk to him as much as you are able. God bless you and your family at this time. Gone through it, not easy, just enjoy him as long as you can.

Cancer took both my Mother in law and Father in law; I hate it with a passion and know the uncertainty and information overload the docs are throwing at you all each visit. Be strong if faith and compassion. He'll need both from all of you supporting him right now.
