Took the little whaler out trolling on the reef again today for a couple of hours. Brought home a yellowtail snapper, 4 coneys, a hind, and a hardnose (blue runner). Today's booty:

We troll plastic swim baits. We are currently using Berkley PowerBait Freshwater Swimming Pogys, H&H "Usual Suspects" Swagger Tail Shad, and Storm Wild-Eye Swim Shad - all in the 3" size.
We used to troll silver spoons, but the barracuda were so obnoxious with them that we switched to the swim baits. They seem to catch as much (or more) of our target fish, and are not hit nearly as much by cuda.
