Headed to Pensacola.

We will be heading to Pensacola in June and looking for some info on the fishing. Never been to Florida so all is gonna be new to me.

Donna and I went to Destin a couple of years ago and fished the beach front with surf rods. All the locals looked at us like we were drunk, but caught a few lady fish (baby tarpon). Went offshore and caught kings, not the best trip. Beaches are great, but get ready for lots of traffic in June. Enjoy!

I took a trout rod and some ss jrs and caught lots of ladyfish in the surf.
You can catch lots of stuff offshore a couple of miles.
