Got out with Capt. Blue this morning headed out the gate to some Dickinson bay reefs we like. Nothing cooking, so headed back into Moses and found 'em on a a little reef we like. I ended up with a nice slot red and trout 18". Blue had seven reds, four in the slot and three 18-19 range. Water temp was running around 60 degrees and fish were caught on soft plastics, chartreuse, pearl and root beer, 1/8 oz. heads. Tried to get blue to let me borrow some procure but he told me he was running low so I let it go. All fish released to fight another day. Enjoyed it blue.

Got some issues with the 50 evinrude on the little whaler. Hydraulics on tilt losing pressure and not holding the motor in position. Losing pressure but no signs of leakage. Also need lower unit oil changed and checked out. Been a great motor but may have to look for a 60 Yamaha. We gonna fly. There goes my fun money account.Comment
