Picked up the boat Monday 2/17 from having a steering issue resolved and hit the water around 11:30. Found the reds sporadically hitting tidal surge plum/chart, bass assassins morning glory on 1/8" jigs and 1/4" gold spoon. Concentrated on shallow flats with the warming water. Hit one area on the north shoreline and 2 south side coves. All three spots produced fish. Water temp was 62 degrees when I headed in around 4:00. Total count 10 reds, only 2 were in the slot (21" and 23"), all released. Good to have the rod bend as the last few outings have been tough.
