What is the story on the Blockade Runners??? I'm new to the site and not sure what is going on.. If I can help do something just let me know.. From what I am picking up it sounds like a storm damaged bay house. I'm not home very much but I can help out when I am in town.. The lights for the dock that were mentioned if you let me know what colors you would like I can order some as well.. Thank you Keith Inglehart

Thank's Sandy and don't sweat it. The prop deal was my fault, it was kind of like, hold my beer and watch this.

Mud Island was a location of a confederate cannon battery against Union war ships and makeshift holding area for Yankee POW's.
Here is a little more light on the subject.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

Don't have time to tell the whole story at the moment as I've gotta get ready for work, but it's best told on the front porch of the camp where I can walk you around and show you everything. Here's a pic of the historical marker for Titlum-Tatlum bayou.

Anytime you can make it out Keith, just let me know and come on out. It's a pretty special place. - Sandy

From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Thanks you for the history lesson. It sounds like a very special place. I would be honored to lend a helping hand when I'm in town.
