Trout assasins fishing report 2/15-2/16
Well gents and ladies this weekend report has all the ingredients of a BAD DREAM! Went out in west bay on Saturday morning looking for a couple of reds since the water is dumping out of our bay again and to be honest... IWAS TOTALLY SKUMKED- It was one bad day for the books. I threw and threw with only one little rat for all my efforts. So I hung it up after about 4 hours and went back to the boat house for some end of day honey dos. Reset and decided to cancel my trinity trip to give west bay another chance, besides I was to lazy to pull the boat out for the trip to trinity. But anyways set up on a couple of locations super early Sunday and started a wade in about 2-4ft of water and ended up chest deep with not even one strike. soft dines, corky, soft plastics, catch2000, and nothing.. So tried to do a couple of drifts just to show something on the end of my line and ZIPPO. Trinity was looking really good after 8 hours and ZERO fish. I truly believe it was my weekend to be humbled by the Big Man upstairs. I would like some feed back on this report to see if anyone did any good at all this weekend or if it was just my weekend to SUFFER. Keep on plugging and keep our bays beautiful.
