Ok , Harvey , I'll let your cuz take over .
We took a bicycle taxi to IRENES . Nice Young skinny kid from NC , Chappell Hill . He asked $12 to take us to Irene's . The wife got him down to $10 , business was down from the cold . This is no 10 speed geared up bike . I winced every time he stood on the pedals to get moving from a dead stop . I told him he should charge by some mathematical equation factoring in gross weight and distance traveled . Between gasps he said that idea was sounding better and better . I think he went down streets with the wind to his back as much as possible for an edge . I felt sorry for him and just a little guilty with King Cake crumbs clinging to my sweater front from earlier and now stepping into IRENES . I couldn't look him in the eye . I gave him $ 15 . Gotta go ...CAFE DUMONDE awaits .

High Cholesteral, diabetes, lower inner tube around gut, swollen feets, beads, and for sure rotten teeth is what he's bringing home from the coonuses and the great state of Louisiana!! Time for BarBQue and pinto beans and TexMex!!
Damn it sure appears he's had a wonderful trip and I kinda wonder if he will be ready for a sea food dinner any time soon.
                            Como sa va !!!
