Ok, so last week I went to the Kroger. I usually buy Fuji apples these days, though I've tried many others. I remember when I was a kid, you had a choice in apples, red, yellow, or Granny Smith. Now there are so many out there, and most are good. So what could make me so overwhelmed that I'd have to get on the net and write about it? They are called "Envy" apples. Holy freakin' cow! These things are amazingly good. Makes healthy snacking a real pleasure. I'd rather have one of these than any, save for perhaps a mango. Get a couple and see what you think.

As long as they are cold, crisp and firm from the fridge and not gritty, I like'em whether they are green, red, yellow or pink.
Pears are just the opposite for some odd reason with me, I like those mushy and gritty.

I bought some grapples the other day and they were pretty good also. I've never had them and the packaging said that they look like an apple but taste like a grape. They did.Comment
