wind done switched and gonna get chilly again. I know there are sportsmen here that will not get caught throwing dead shrimp on bottom but that will usually find action. Gotta be shrimp tails and not the head and sometimes peeled. The dredged part of the channel protected by the narrow Bayou banks drifting on outgoing water should produce fish. From bubble barrier out to about the red 20 bobber has always been a mainstay in the coldest winters.
Fish the deeper guts of the dredged channel. Water will be a little warmer from the bubble barrier out because of plant discharge of fresh water. They also hole up in Perrys. If the mix is right the fishes will be there.
Now back to the couch or wood shop. I'm building bee hive bodies, bottoms and tops and a few frames getting ready for swarm season and 1st honey flow.

Probably 1982. Before I got confident in lures, I fished live shrimp, dead shrimp, squid, mullet, sand fiddlers, etc.,etc,
