  • February, Cold, Windy & Drizzly

The next two weeks look pretty awful, weather-wise. It doesn't look like any freezing weather, but upper 30's-40's for lows. 50's for highs and a lot of 20-30 mph winds.

Saw this morning that Punxatawny Phil saw his shadow, so it be six more weeks o' this stuff! Looks like weeks of cleaning tackle and going when the weather allows...depending on how bad of a case you have...

It's a heck of forecast, kenny. I'm hoping for some good spring surf conditions with a lot less westerly wind factor than last year. I'm considering a lot more fresh water lake fishing this season and taking advantage of some opportunities I've been passing up the last few years.

I've been away from the brine too long, I would go out in those conditions in a heartbeat. Last week here in West Texas it was in the single digits when I got to work...not to mention the wind chill!

                        Kenny:

How'd you do yesterday in the fog?
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. You probably already saw it in the wade fishing forum, but we did a "Deadliest Catch" reenactment. It sucked!!!
