I've eaten them before. Grey meat, f fishy fishy taste.

I've had worse, but most other fish is better. Being drunk improves the taste.

Things that you may not like that are better table fare than bluefish

Spanish Mackerel - This I do not like, but it's better than bluefish.
Hardhead Catfish - Pretty oily, but I could survive on it.
Jack Crevalle - It's all in the preparation, beginning as soon as the fish comes out of the water.
Mullet - I really like mullet. Those that don't usually have never tried it. Be honest.

Bluefish is better than King Mackerel.

              Leave bluefish for the Yankees.

Big sport on the East Coast and they get real big-like Moe's buddy's. I've filleted them and cooked em-fried em and grilled em like Kings-on a scale of 1-10, I'd say a 3-4. Oily, and they don't freeze worth a darn.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. In my youth we would catch big ones trolling for stripers in the Chesapeake Bay. Some would push 20lbs and I think the World Record is close to 40lbs. When we caught them we would let them go as they aren't worth eating, they do put up a great fight. We didn't keep them for cut bait, but then again we didn't shark fish. None of the fish we fished for would eat cut Bluefish so they were considered a great fighting trash fish.

they get over 10lbs on the east coast
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

Lol, Moe! Are you any closer to finding out what you need to know about blue fish? If so, explain it to me when we fish together again. Which will be soon!
