  • The Honeymooners

I started watching this show when I was a kid. Fishin' was not good tonight, so TV is the dealio. Freakin' hilarious show. Jackie Gleason and Art Carney were the best comedy team in TV history IMO. I just had a laughing fit. Ralph is doing his taxes and realizes he hasn't reported ALL his income, including pool winnings. Norton tells him if he gets caught to plead the 18th Amendment. Ralph says, you mean the 5th Amendment, the 18th was for Prohibition. Norton says, yeah tell 'em you plead the 18th, that you were drunk when you did your taxes. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!

    Who else loves the Honeymooners?

Jackie Gleason was an amazing guy. Played pool with the best of them, was a great composer and a terrific comedian. It's too bad so few people know.

One of the too funny old series that this generation missed and should check out . I love Lucy and the Carol Burnet show are some . Carol Burnet had some of the funniest skits . Clean and wholesome too . Early ones were done live and you can see them trying not to crack a laugh during the broadcast . The two actors with Carol were absolutely hilarious . Who were they ? Art Carney and ... Tim something .

One of these days Alice, POW, right on the smacker. Red Skeleton was one of my favorites. They were all very talented. Now days it all depends on killing, language, sex. The actors/comedians of today wouldn't have made it back then. Lord Bless.
