  • Wader advise part 2

First I would like to thank everyone for their input on my first post a few weeks back. I purchased a set of Magellan breathable waders and a set of boots to go along with them. I am going to try them out this weekend. I will be staying on Bolivar and thought I might get some ideas on where to wade. I am not taking my boat so I need to have access by foot. What is a good bait to throw this time of year.

Corky or 1/4oz long shank jig head with shad type lure. Hope this helps. Lord Bless.

Only place I know on Bolivar side is behind Rollover Pass unless you want to drive to the wildlife refuge. And eat at Stingeray's or how every you spell it good eats and drinks.

As mentioned , not a lot of options . Horse Shoe cove north of the ferry landing by the little bridge .Go across rollover bridge and wade the flats just to the left if there's any water .Places to explore but you could just ferry over to Galveston to walk in .

Corky- bright colors bright day. Dark colors dark days.

But this has proved me wrong more than once
