  • coyote or dog?

I took a picture of this while entering into Chocolate Bay on 10-31 just south of Halls Lake. I thought it was a small deer but it appeared to be scavenging the water line. Stray dog or a coyote?

I would say cayote, because of the ears ears and long face.

Coyote: They are all over. At GISP, they howl in unison when ambulances or firetrucks go by with their siren. My brother had one stuck in his closed garage for 4 days and it tore the heck outta the doors trying to get out and I've seen em on my street as well as on North shoreline, Chocolate and by Sunset Cove.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Coyote for sure..............see them all the time running the bank on the north shoreline. We've got more than we need at our home in Sea Isle too. Ike really displaced a bunch of 'em. Be especially careful with your pets on the west end at dawn and dusk........
