Waverunner build/boat on hold

Driving to work yesterday morning I noticed something blinking on the dash, look down and its my tow/haul light. Hmm, that cant be good. Pull into a Taqueria in Mt Belvieu, and my truck wont shift out of drive. Hmmm, that damn sure aint good. Set the E brake, go in and get my tacos. Well, now I cant back up, so through the flowerbed in 4HI it is (sorry Taqueria Del Sol). Limp my truck to the jobsite and trans temp pegs out 100 yards before the gate. Get off work, tow it allllll the way back to Pearland to Dirty Diesel, awaiting diagnosis now. Lot of horsepower going through that trans, but I was just cruising 60-65 when it all happened! Im sure that its gonna be in the thousands. Some of yall know ive been whining like a tween girl about finally getting my boat, as a matter of fact my boss and I were planning to go to the boat show after church tomorrow, and maybe pull the trigger on an extended warranty, overpowered, unaffordable love of my life.......Now, I sit biting my nails, naked, crouched in the corner thinking about what might have been. OK so its just a setback, but boy does this suck.

Still haven't heard anything, but today was my Beautiful Wifes Birthday. The kids were dropped off at PaPas house and I took her to Landrys for Supper, followed up with Bananas Foster. We got a first row parking spot, the kids were mostly aslepp when we picked them up , and the wife just took a glass of ice water into our bedroom and told me to lock our door when I come to bed....Life aint to bad after all.
