HookSpit Rods.....
Went by HookSpit for the first time yesterday and their Rod Builder was in and let me take a peak at their new line. In the way of customs Im a firm believer in Sarge Customs, but the TX Wader Lite he showed me was VERY Impressive! Id put it up against Laguna in a second. Heres the best part.....You can pick your color of thread(s), cut down length, AND have Recoil Guides for $199.00! The baddest, High Modulus , model they make is $279.00. That is definitely a wad of cash, but if you look at the components, AND most importantly the warranty that READS solid, it is pretty reasonable. They also had one of the better selections of Corkies Ive seen. I am a HUGE Capitalist, with a definite affection for small business, so I plan on buying one in a week or two if work gets a lil busier and try and support them. Any strore that finds you a magazine to read when you ask to use their restroom is alright by me.
