  • Jamaica Beach tides

An app I've got shows the tides at Jamaica Beach. My uneducated mind wants to know if there would be a lag for Olffatts? Or if there is a tides source for Olffatts? I thought Jamaica Beach would be better than the Pleasure Pier or anywhere else around the island, huh.

I would split the difference between Jamaica Beach and texas city turning basin or Galveston channel . You could get an idea of it .

No , if low tide at the galveston channel is 1pm and low tide at Jamaica Beach is 3 pm , the back of offats is roughly in the middle of those two locations . So you split the difference . Low tide at offats would be 2 pm approximately .

Thanks. Never was good at math. As an Air Force brat I missed key teaching in moving from one base to another to the point I was considered retarded. My cover was blown on the ACT and SAT tests and angry teachers put me in lunch-eating honors courses my senior year. Still I got my universary degree without a single math class.
