Yeah, saw you on your way home. Should have turned around and went home myself. This is the first time in my life I did not see A SINGLE SIGN OF LIFE in the water this afternoon.....did not see a single mullet on the surface, jumping, etc. Weird.... I'm done until the water temp gets back into the 50s. Only stayed out 30 minutes and lost my favorite Corkie to a backlash that snapped the line in mid cast.

Yeah , i looked it up . It does refer to skining catfish , but is a regional saying only in the southern states . But , also in the 1800's the french would skin cats for women's garment furs .
