You have a good head on your shoulders . Keep clean and study hard and make something of yourself . The more educTion you have the better . If you like car mechanics , get the most education in that field as possible . If you want to be an attorney , get in college and apply yourself . You get out of life what you put into it . Life is not easy , but you can be successful if you stick with it .

Right now, you have to go to school with kids like that. I did as well. I've seen kids cut open with glass and bricks dropped on other kid's heads during fights. I even had to wash skin and blood off my car from another kid's face. One year, Fox 26 "City Under Siege" did a report on gang activity in Alvin. That made matters worse and every knucklehead thought it would be cool to start gang fights.

Slowly but surely, those kids will be phased out. The bad kids drop out, get sent to alternative schools or go to jail. Choose your friends wisely. When a party takes a turn for the worse, call your Dad or you older brother to come get you. He'll, I'll come get you if you still have my number. My son was the type of young man I wish I would have been. I can see you making the most of your HS years in a positive way as well.

went to school with kids like that in Alvin in the 80's. had a piece of chit stick me in the leg with his pocket knife because I was one of the only people that cared about the class. it was metal shop who gives a chit right, crazy teacher but I didn't deserve what that fk did. still didn't rat that Mexican out. lol

Its all in the raising of kids nowadays!! Bad parents most likely bad kids. My oldest daughter is an elementary school principal. Stories are scary and I want her to pack. She also blames the misery on the parents.
Used too in Alvin there were very few Ligustrum bushes living because mothers would use the branches for switches.
Moma killed ours on me and my brothers and sisters.

That's right . Kids need to be disciplined . A good spanking when warranted on behind padding god made for that purpose . When I was in jr . High school , you would get swats with a flat paddle by the coach or vice principle . Then get worked over again at home . The liberals put a stop to that . Now a parent is in danger of charges of child abuse for that . There's a difference between discipline and abuse . The key are the parents . Those lawless kids are going to be lawless parents . In my day the bad kids would sneak a beer , cigarette , and have a fistfight . And you better say mame and sir and shut up in class .
