Need help to identify a fish

[Bonito]

I caught and released a fish about 17" long that was shaped kind of like a 1" x 4" . It was about 3" from belly to it's top fin and only about 1" thick with really bright silver sides. Its mouth was more like a fish , not like a needle gar.
Anyone know what it was?

Needle fish ? Google it and any other guesses and look at pictures to see if you recognize it .

I think everything I can think of has been covered Ribbon Fish, baby Tarpon, lady fish, the only other thing I can think of is maybe a bluefish, Bonito where did you catch it.
