Sunday Brunch Trout

Bruce says I need to "give it a rest" LOL so Here's a report from Sunday upper bay shell. I waded early and caught some smallish fish on a trout pattern one knocker Spook. I decided to try some drifts about 9:30 and about the second drift things lit up for about 30 minutes. I caught two pretty much back-to-back on a BA chicken on a chain 1/8 oz jig. One 5# and one 5 1/2#. I switched to my winter favorite a lt. grn/slvr/wht Catch Jr. Missed one and then saw a big fish move right to left just under the surface an nail the lure. That was awesome. Unfortunately she came off after a brief run & shake. I had one more 5# class fish follow the lure and jump over it right at the boat.
