  • Skunked but not only one

Think it was Bob Dylan who said "I would not feel so all alone; everyone must be skunked." Or something like that. Well, I was feeling pretty depressed Saturday morning while wading off Spportsman's. Not a bite. But another wader had no luck either. And first onr yaker came by singing the blues, then three others in a group admitted no bites despite throwing everything they had. I don't feel alone -- but it still sucks. Anybody else get skunked Saturday?

It happens........but , it is better if most are struggling as well . One gets a complex if everyone but you are catching fish .

I got all undersized-mainly reds, but did manage a Texas Slam (a 14.8 trout, a 18" red-several actually - and a 7" flounder) on strong outgoing tide at a drain. Was almost laughable that all fish were so small-the reds were aggressive and the floundie I wasn't even sure I had it after I set the hook it was so small.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Definitely. I waded Dana Cove that morning. The tide was incredibly high. The only thing I could entice to bite was a gaff top and an undersized red.

Did pretty good at chocolate. I don't know why people fish anywhere else.
