.man I sure miss them trips to gorda with sneekypete and lurefisher, wading that thigh deep mud!! them was the good ol days we caught some big girls on them pink fat boys!!

yeah, me too! what happened to sneeky? that's where the trout in my avatar is from! not getting in that mud, we were drifting throwing spooks. lol
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

I have caught a couple small trout recently on Pink, sinking Fat Boy. My favorite lure hands down lately has been Gold/Pink One Knocker Spook. I am in the process of learning soft plastics, I have been forcing myself to practice with 'em but lets just say I SUCK.......any opinions on Corky Devils this time of year and Maniac Mullet?

Same as summer lures, but way slower. I've only caught 1 trout on corky. I'm not giving up yet on them. Need to practice more and have more confidence. Lord Bless.

For a fun and successful trip, all you need is Corkies, Coors and a Curmudgeon. Pink Corkies, silver bullets and I ain't sure what color Bruce is!
