Fishing Report East Bay

Got out on the water about 6:15 am Saturday , went straight to a spot that I have found to be a decent area by marsh point. First hook up was a rat red and then a small flounder, lost and nice red and flounder right at the boat. Moved around a little trying to explore a little bit more of this marsh area, and ended up in BPB hung one keeper flounder out of there then went over into Yates and came out with nothing. Still trying to learn this area. I'm having a problem with the whole flounder thing, this is my first year of trying artificial and learning how to catch flounder. One thing that I did learn was that using braided line is a big plus, spooled my curado with it and im loving it. Grew up with my pops and uncle using nothing but live shrimp, so it's a pretty big adjustment for me. I feel like i do ok using artificial, fishing for reds and specks but Saturday I had my mind on trying to hang me some flounder.
