In the next couple days ima go buy a few corkys, when i fished i fished in a tournament in Port Mansfield over the summer all we fished with were corkys and we hammered them, i wanted to pick up a few for this winter for wadin. From yalls experience or opinions what is the best colors of corkys for winter time in west bay?

I would think all colors more depending on water clarity...and also work them slow. Be curious myself for some input from others.

Chartreuse, Pearl Chartreuse, Pearl Pink, Pink, Orange/Gold/ Chartreuse, Pearl Black, Red Shad, Day Glo, and then some. All tend to work very good. A big part of it is fishing one that you have confidence in. Don't get all caught up in the slow slow slow stuff. The fish will tell you how they want it. There have been many days even when its cold they will hit it when worked pretty quick.

All winter I fish a pink and chartreuse corky devil. Texas Chicken. It has been a super solid bait for me the last two winters.

I have a lure addiction so I have every other color. I only fish that one bait. Go figure.
