You will get wet with chop in the extreme and its a little bumpy as well. But that is not what this type of majek is made for.

Never gotten wet in mine unless it's raining and if you no how to drive it ain't rough. What is your definition of chop or do you mean 3' swells because a lot of boats don't ride swells very well.

1's are no problem. 2's while whitecaping (depending on wind direction) your prob going to get some spray. The ride is good as long as you time the waves right. Anything above 2.5", your gonna get a little wet and it's a little bumpy. Overall, I love my Majek and wouldn't trade it in. It drafts 12" but I believe I get through some skinnier water at times. The Majek is a great boat with low sides. It does a great job in all of galveston bay complexes. I try to avoid the open bays if there is 2.5"+. I don't think you will be disappointed if you are wanting the boat for bay fishing and getting into the back lakes. With that said, if you want to get into 6" water, them this is not the boat to run it in.

Heck in 2.5' chop/whitecapsunless I'm running straight on/into the waves, in my 23' robalo CC, I get spray on cross waves. Any boat will soak ya in crosswaves unless it's a crewboat, workboat or yacht.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
