fishing questions!!!

1: where can i go find some good sized Croaker...skillet size?!?
2: how long is the "bull run"?
3: is sportsmans road a productive area now and any tips?
4: any other productive wading spots in galveston or nearby areas?

1) I've caught the most croaker either in the surf off of the rock groins, or at sportsman's rd on the big oyster reef that is N. of the island due W. from the end of the road. At the reef, I'll chum around me with small pieces of shrimp and they will come in thick.

2)The best part is right now until the flounder run starts (still need some harder cold fronts) You can catch them all winter long through.

3)Yes it is. I have posted some tips on it before that you can search for. By December or so, most of the baitstealers are gone, and fishing with dead shrimp on that reef is a sure bet for a full stringer. Fishing with artis is good until it gets that cold.

4)There are some good ones. E. Beach S. Jetty pocket, GISP, All around the channel when the flounder start moving.

sportsman road is definately a weekday spot if I got there. If you go on a weekend that area is flooded with kayakers and walk in waders. I've only done OK there in Dec/Jan

That little area behind moody is if you are talking about between the shore and that first reef.
