Top Water action being affected by Obama

Hit the bay today for a few hours looking for some trout, found small specks 12-17" range caught and released 14 then ran into a school of reds that tore my up top water, they just do not make the hooks as they use to. Damn Obama care is affecting our fishing lures now he has gone to far. Anyone else having the same issue with top water?

Must be democrats and republican hooks. Hooks break, same as politicians break their words. No difference. Maybe some day we might get some strong hooks as well as politicians. NAH, hooks have strong backs, politicians don't. Lord Bless.

Had the same thing happen to me the other day. Lost a barb way out past the south jetty....but said "to Congress with it" and kept fishing. Landed three more nice mojo keepers before I changed the darn hook out!

I prefer American made hooks, without the spin, without some crappy coating applied to make it look better than it is and still at an economical cost. I call those hooks the "47%"-they do most of the work and aren't expecting entitlements that allow bending and breakage.
