  • Brazos river/MOB

Major flooding up here on the San Bernard watershed.
Tried to find current levels of the Brazos but the .org site I tried is not working,...probably due to the shutdown.
Since the Bernard and the Brazos watersheds are intertwined I'm guessing it will flood also.
And just in time for the flounder run.

After a summer of bad winds and weed, I should have known that the final kick in the groin would be the river spitting mud.
Hope I'm wrong. Anyone with any current river levels or info?

As much as it sucks we need the runoff in our bays badly.

The west end gets the water from City of Houston. Brazos is contaminated-has Dallas germs and then downstream, it gets atm germs-ewwww, that splains why it's always dirty looking water!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I have a place at river's end on the San Bernard, not going down until Friday evening but I suspect it will be all messed up by then.

I think I'll be trying for flatties at the pass for the next couple of weeks. Chocolate and Bastrop runoff may turn it a little off color, but the water there never stays off color for long. Give me a call if you're planning on coming down Robert.
