What am I?

I was caught in 350' of water out 100 miles? The orange lookin' one was about 12" long and the other was maybe 20" long.

Plus 8 snapper, 6 scamps, 1 AJ, several beeliners, 1 big As_ triggerfish

Nice mess of fish there...have no idea what they are but they sure are purdy...

Good catch, dont know what the first pic is but the second pic looks like a young ling.

The heads are shaped like a tilefish. Maybe a different type other than the typical golden tile that is caught?

edit: the long skinny one seems to match pictures of a Sand Tilefish that I found google'ing.

That is not a juvenile ling.Tail and anal fin are all wrong.
