Many of you may have seen where Fisher House, an organization we support via our summer tournament, has stepped up and agreed to fund the $100,000 amount that the government pays families of wounded warriors in time of war until the shut down ends. Hooray for this fantastic organization!!!!!!!

They have more intelligence and kindness then our so call White House leaders. I wouldn't mine having a senate or representative job. Work 3 months out of the year and get $180,000 retirement for life, with all the bennies. Now that's a total joke. People work all their lives, and that's where our so call leaders get their retirement. I applaud the Fisher House. Great work. Lord Bless.

If they are a tax exempt organization , Barack will sic the IRS on them . Good for them . Too bad they had to spend good money to fund what we taxpayers already coughed up to pay for . Still fund Michelle's " moving on " for fat kids but not for our military .GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO. L, 1 ST TEXAS INFANTRY, HOOD'S TEXAS BRIGADE, C.S.A. : S.C.V.

There 's a petition going around to enact a law madating congress to be subject to all the laws they pass . Right now they are exempt from OBUMMERCARE and have a lavish healthcare program . What's with that ! Easy to vote how to spend our money and pass laws they aren't subject to .GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO. L, 1 ST TEXAS INFANTRY, HOOD'S TEXAS BRIGADE, C.S.A. : S.C.V.

Got this email from Dave...my brother in law who runs Fisher House
Here's the latest updates:
Ken will be appearing with Bill O'Reilly on The Factor tonight.
The first checks were sent to families last Friday. We have now written checks for $25,000 for 21 families and have distributed the first $525,000.
It looks like there are now 32 families that qualified for the death gratuity during the shutdown as it pertains to the death gratuity. We are awaiting the necessary information from the Department of Defense to distribute the remaining $275,000.
The response from the public has been overwhelming by any and all measures. The number of emails, notes and calls of thanks have been humbling. We have received over 4,000 donations via the web totaling over $500,000. Today, we set a record for mail delivery and it took over two hours just to open the mail... another $140,000 in the mail.
Add to that the number of inquiries from potential funders - and we have been pretty busy. Our Fisher House team has done a great job fielding calls and keeping pace as best we can. I hope you will be as proud of them as I am.
Best,

Excellent move by Fisher House. More Pro U.S. than the blowhard at 1600 Penn Ave., Washington D.C.
Thank you Fisher House!!!"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
