We're headed down to Sea Isle this weekend in search of some Bull Reds. No boat on this trip though - will have to rely on wading and the surf. My youngest has never caught a bull red and I want to put him on some if I can. Anybody have any suggestions?

good size live mullet in the surf!the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

san luis pass, galveston side, surf side of bridge on the point. or 20 yards closer to bridge. went last week and killed em. also fought the biggest ray i ever seen for 3 hours only to break off 10 feet from beach. bigger than a hood of a truck! and thats no fish story!!!! lady fish and blue fish did the trick. would hit the cut and live mullet we chunked. somethin oily did the trickif i dnt catch dinner, i will catch a buzz. it works out!
