    Haven't heard anything.

The surf was HUGE today. Why did they have to get in it??????

I spoke to a county official about this on the way home. He was so upset. He said, "Sandy, you know a lot of people who fish. You've got to help get the word out. If you're fishing at the M.O.B. or SLP, you've just GOT TO WEAR A LIFE JACKET!"

So there it is guys. The power of water must be respected. That river is always flowing, and the tides are strong. They will wash the sand out from under your feet in a split second. It's not the same as wading in the bay. Wear a PFD.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

that undertow near any river that meets the coast can be deadly.when i was alittle fisherman and dad would take to mattie to fish the colorado he would put a life jacket on me and tell me son if you get swept away don;t panic.he would say don't try and swim back to shore let the current take you out because eventually it will bring you back. glad it never happened. i pray for those two and there families.

just read online that they found one of the bodies in the gulf, no signs of the other missing wader.

I always wear SOS inflatable suspenders and my wade belt is a WADAIDE-It's like a ski belt sort of, has buoyancy. A little safeguard especially if I'm not wearing my suspenders. I swim like a rock, anyway and out of shape.

I've been surfing since I was 12 years old and I attach a cheap 12.00 dollar boogie board to my stringer.Floats good in the waves and you never know it's there.Plus it has saved my donkey more than a few times.Laugh all you want, but I'll make it back in alive with all my gear.....

They called off the search and have asked folks to look for a body. Sad ending. I hope they at least find his remains for his family.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
