  • Fishing Seabrook Flats on Saturdat

I haven't heard any reports from Seabrook . But , one usually fishes the pier pilings . You might try the bridge but I've never had much to show for the effort . I paddled to the south side crossing the Kemah channel twice . The second time the tide was stronger and what with the wind and water rebounding off the concrete bulkheads , it was like being in a washing machine . Waves were coming from all directions at once . The pucker effect was way up there . My butt checks were trying suction down on the seat . It was like riding a bull . I would advise not to cross the channel .

Are you going to be launching from El Jardin beach?

Google Earth will help, and a variety of books published for the upper coast will Give you a bunch of launch spots.
