  • Weekend Looks Real Iffy

Man, what a storm last night! The rain appears to be ending, but the NNE wind is blowing 15+ and expected to get higher today and tomorrow, with gusts to 30 MPH. I'm going to give it a shot in a while anyway.
Surf should be awesome early today too......

I'll definitely be waiting on your report! I'm supposed to go wade in tomorrow but I've never gone behind this this much rain.

Tomorrow might be better back in the marsh. Water will be blown out, reds should be concentrated.

Glad to hear it because marsh is where I'll be. Hope all the trout won't run off though.
I'm sure either trouphytroutman or myself will have a report on tomorrow.
Hopefully Kenny found some action today.

I was originally planning on going this morning so I'm glad I changed my mind. This afternoon or tomorrow might be great.

Washout here in alvin . Think it will be a good day playing in the mud with kids on fourwheelers. Maybe next weekend will hit the water again

Not much fun here on 39th either. I think I'll sort my gear and re-rig for better weather.

You boys really need a fishing fix if you are out there today or Sunday . Howling NE wind and water dumping from the bays / marsh , chance of more rain . I live in Houston and its a major production for me to haul my stuff to the coast . Too iffy conditions for this old boy . Good thing is this rain and north wind will dump major bait out of the marshes . I'll be interested in any reports . I'll be impressed to see a catching report .
