Not as happy as I am when I'm fishing but close enough. I've been fighting a bunch of scam artists (Texas windstorm) for over 5yrs from hurricane ike. After threatening a law suit, they tucked their tails and are finally giving money for a roof. No more dealing with engineers or adjusters (all 15 that been over here). Getting roof on today!!!! Oh yeah

Those guys from windstorm screwed themselves over the years by over bidding roofs. Hell the adjuster bidded 13000 $ for my 30 square roof last year.THats why they went bankrupt this year. I ended up paying outta pocket 5800 $ to get it done by a buddy.

You both better make sure you have a WPI 8 or trouble will begin. I hate TWIA also, had 3 rooms with ceiling/water damage from Ike and the moron adjuster from TWIA said it was water blown into a vent that ran down a rafter. Pure BS. I asked which vent had a common rafter that went to all three ceilings? He dint have an answer, but they paid for the ceiling repairs but no roof. In May, we had a big hail storm, so I got a new roof this year anyway-heck, all of Jamaica Beach shoulda got new roofs from the May hailstorm said the adjuster.

I made sure I get that piece of paper!! Those guys ain't cheap. For them to look over the roof 3 time and there signature on the documents is freak in 400. I'll just be glad when I'm all done

Amazing what a pain in the neck they can be. Went through same thing on a rent house i had in lamarque. They were paying to repair a lot inside from roof being compromised but not wanting to cover the roof. After all the run around it took an attorney calling and wow next thing you know new roof.

My neighbor at that time had problems with the adjuster. Same person was doing his house. He got the run around from him. He called the governors office, and they got on the adjusters case. He was not a happy camper. Neighbor told him to fix the house or he would call them back. He told him of the consequences if he called back. He had his house finished within the week. If not, he would be sued and lost his license. Good to know upper people. Lord Bless.

This should have been included in the price of the roof and it usually runs 175.00 to the roofing company. If any questions arise feel free to shoot me a PM and I can help walk you through anything.
