Line?

What line is everyone fishing? Color, pound test, braid, fluorocarbon?

Just curious. I have fished a lot of different stuff. A friend of mind religiously fishes that red Cajun line. But we have had horrible luck with it lately! I tried Seagar fluoro and it had terrible memory.

Looking to try something else.

Was using braid, but went back to mono here. 12lb if I am not mistaken.

Oh boy , you're gonna have a different answer for each individual . Some love braid but you work your artificial bait differently than with monofilament . No stretch and very sensitive . I've heard that if you switch to braid then go back to mono that you have a hard time getting your mono rythem back . Anyway , I like P-Line . Flexable , low memory , small diameter . I use 15 pound test which is the same diameter as other 12 pound test . I use a 3 foot fluorocarbon shock leader . Get ready to be confused .

Braid on 2 and Stren on the others. I like the 10 lb test.
Use 20 lb Flourocarbon when I use a leader.

I use 12# Ande on my bait casters. I use Suffix 832 braid 20# on my spinning reels. I had braid on my bait casters and didn't like it. I like braid on the spinners because of the lack of memory. I use an 18" 20# fluorocarbon leader on both.

Pound test varies. Have 20 on the casting reels. 5 on a couple of ultralights. 80 on the big surf reels.
It svcks when brand new. You need to use it a while for it to loosen up.
I use short fluorocarbon leaders.

Ande grn 12# with 20#FluoC leader, Change out the leader every trip out.

20# suffix 832 & regular Seagar 20# fluro line for a leader. I have one too-fast action rod with suffix 10# mono I'm experimenting with throwing top waters. I want it to feel more whippy, and the stretch seems to give it that.
