  • RIP Buck - our beloved Lab of 14.5 years passed today

This has been the worst birthday ever. Got up to hit the surf and nothing by seaweed. Got back to the house and had a weird feeling in my stomach. Went upstairs to work and Donna screamed for me to help her because Buck was shaking and could not get up. Donna noticed his gums were pale, so we call the Vet and they said rush here, that is not good. Well, they were right. There was a tumor we did not know about that ruptured and he was bleeding in his stomach. We had to make the decision to put Buck down because surgery was not an option according to the Vet. RIP BUCK, WE LOVE YOU, WILL MISS YA and I KNOW YOU WILL BE RIDING A GOLF CART IN AMINAL HEAVEN HE WILL ALWAYS BE OUR ONLY ST. PATRICK'S DAY DOG (3-17-99 TO 8-28-2013) Click image for larger version

Thanks. Donna is really taking it hard, she took him to work all the time and I think we might have been away from him for an extended period only a few times in that 14 years.

Man, this is tough to see Mike. Buck was a great dog. Remember that not only were you blessed to have him, he was blessed to have y'all. It's a terrible curse upon us that our 4 legged friends do not live as long as we do. You'll see him again, across the Rainbow Bridge. Prayers for you and Donna. - Sandy
