    Off Shore Monday 8/26

    I'm thinking of going off shore fishing Monday. Any suggestions on where to go and what to fish for would be appreciated. We will be taking my 24' Maxum deep vee. Heading out through SLP. Let me know your thoughts. We will probably troll for kings - what bait/lure should we troll with??

    I'd look for the weeds...that way you might pull out some dorado

      Drift the 301/303 areas with Sardines. Bring some (lots) chum to get em active. If trolling, try Rapalas in dorado color or use red/white feathers with a sardine. Be careful-make sure your VHF is working and watch the weather.

        Thanks for the advice. I'm picking up a hand held GPS today. I grabbed a couple of lures yesterday. Just hoping for some decent weather.

          Please make sure you have a VHF also, cellphones may not work out there...have Fun!!!
