Looking to buy new stingray guards - any recommendation?

I am in the need of a new pair of ray guards and it seems like the Foreverlast brands are not holding up very long, so I went online and found these. Has anyone every bought them? I bought a set just like that 2 years ago and I much prefer them over the clunky everlast boots I had before them. They've held up well.

I'm not sure what brand those are but I've heard the Crackshot's are good...they look similar with the strap that goes under, may be the same thing. I've been meaning to buy a pair myself but haven't done so yet.

I looked into a variety of 'puncture proof' fabrics trying to find a better, more comfortable ray guard. SuperFabric meets ASTM standards for both needle puncture and metal cut/puncture. I think it is a 3M product that has been incorporated into safety clothing. Turtleskin is one company that uses it for snake proof clothing. Might be worth a look. I have thought about buying a set of the gators and then trying to shoot a nail gun through it. That would be proof to me that it would work on rays too.

The only thing I see if they said rust proof zipper, I have not found one thing that can hold up to the saltwater, so I am a little worried about that. $ 135 and they rust in a year would not be good.

Those blue one are Stingray Guardz brand...also Crackshot ray guards if you don't like foreverlasts anymore

Hell, I've even waded barefoot at behind the Pass before! That long walk back from the sand bar is a mother after 8 hrs of standing with reef boots on!

Before spending that kind of money I would just go ahead and buy these then use your Simms boots for the winter when the rays are gone.

the ray's don't leave in the winter. The crackshot guards and reef boots is what I wear.
