  • M.o.B. recon 05:30 Saturday

sitting down at M.o.B. right now.
    Wind very light from SE.
    Waves moderate. Wadeable.
    Color difficult to tell yet.
Beach is driveable. Couple of soft areas. Shouldn't be a problem in a 2x2 if you're careful. Pretty soft right down at the actual mouth. Would not recommend non 4x4 there.
Was some distant lighting off to east but it seems to have stopped.

Over by the Surfside jetty now.
Water is green but not clean. Lots of weed bits.
Surf is wadeable but you're gonna get beat up.
Dark clouds off to east and approaching.
Lots of folks out fishing. Not seeing much action.

Thanks for the reports. Think I'll just work a little, watch some golf and have some drinks with the wife today.
