I use this Hookset Marine wade belt, any ideas on wade belt accessories, as in a good rod holder, something to hold a beverage of choice etc.

I use to have a floating inflatable cooler one of us would tow around with us. That was back in my younger days when I'd wade miles in the course of a day. I have seen anything like you are looking for, but I bet if someone was to design something it would sale. I'll keep my eyes peeled in case I come across something.Pro Staff - Bounty Hunter Turbo Buzz, Creme Lures, New Pro Products, & K9 Fishing Fluorocarbon

Try the Walk-N-Wade wading belt. I have used every belt out there and keep going back to this one. They sell them at Academy for about $50 bucks. The only thing you need to replace is the stringer, not a very good one. Has no front buckle to break, all velcro. Has a removable tackle box on the back, has pliers, rod holder, and has 2 drink holders. I use one of the drink holders to carry a spool of leader line. The wide belt has great back support. Go buy you one and if you don't like it I will buy it back. I have 3 of them and those are the one I use for clients.

The walk-n-wade is all that I have. I have 3 or 4 of them, and the velcro beats the heck out of buckles.
The one problem is that if you ever fish w/ Muddskipper, those belts seem to grow legs and before you know it, you have one less than you thought!

Hookset is good. I've had mine for over 3 years and it still just as good as the day I got it, maybe better. As far as accessories, I just go with the standard Hookset stringer, a Rapala hemo with scissors, and my boga. I then go with an over the shoulder wading box. In the surf or deep wading, the Hookset belt will stay in place and not ride up on you. Others are good too, but this is just my preference.
I dont go with the extra rod holder and stuff because it tends to get in my way.Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!

This is kinda off the subject, but I like my WADE-AIDE because of the back support and it'll float me if I get in too far over my head , which I have done once. Kinda like a ski belt. My buckle broke once, and they sent me a repair belt, looked like a new belt for all I could tell. Life time warrenty. My fishing buddy use to be co-owner of FISH SLICK stringers. They are a decent stringer. Quick release float end and slick stringer for easy sliding on and off fish.EGO has some floating fish nets, or you can just bungie 3 pipe insulation foams on to your net. I have a hookout and besides the net, that's all. Half the time a rod holder is under water. I'm old school with a garage made over the shoulder wade box slung behind my back. You can access it in chest deep water.GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO. L, 1 ST TEXAS INFANTRY, HOOD'S TEXAS BRIGADE, C.S.A. : S.C.V.
