AM skunk and PM Slam

Weather looked perfect this morning but could not find the fish. Had a couple of blow ups on a top water and that was it. Went in early. Had to run to Academy, get some things done and decided to try again this afternoon. Started out in Karankawa and got my flounder. Worked the lake for a while and picked up a dink or two. Went back into Greens and goofed off WAY back in there. Got turned around and knew if I came off a plane I would never get out there...took about fifteen minutes to realize where I was and made it back out. Wish I could say I never get lost but... Hit the north shore line. Around 6:30 had a nice 25" red in the boat and now needed that trout! A few moinutes later I had that trout but it was only 14". Kept after it and a few before dark landed a 16"er.

Now I need to check my Horns and go to BED!

Nice work out there and congrats on the slam. I will agree with you on the AM bit, it was not there. I threw everything in the bag and only caught dings and one rat.
