Doesn't look like a cotton mouth to me. Looks like a typical water snake. Diamond head shape means nothing. Look at the eyes, round eyes non poisonous. Vertical or cat eyes equal poisonous. Hard to see in that pic but head does not look like a cotton mouth head.
