  • HUGE Blue Crab I Caught in West Bay

    I took out my crab traps earlier in the week and dropped them near the Sea Isle channel. Whenever I went to chech them, I would catch nothing until I checked them this morning. Take a look at this monster. I used a quarter for size reference.

                    I'd be happy to take that back to Maryland and steam it with some beer and old bay seasoning. Just did a bushel of those fellas over 4th weekend. When lucky we can catch them as large as 8"-8.5" point to point on a 1200' trotline with necks every 3'.

                        Be careful on which claw you remove from a stone crab!
