We have a webcam on Anegada. It is normally down at the Cow Wreck bar, where you can see fun times a-hapennin. The bar is dead right now (off-season), so we have the webcam at our house...
All is not perfect here. We (my wife and I) went to our local "bait shop" this afternoon. The bait shop is a very small creek that connects the inland salt ponds to the sea. Our daily procedure is to fly fish the creek for ladyfish that we cut for bait for snapper and shark.
We got our bait this afternoon, planning for some night fishing out in the front yard. However, we had some decent rain a few days back. Anegada is normally quite dry - desert-like, in fact. The recent rain has brought out the mosquitoes so thick that there is no way we can sit out on the beach tonight.
We are in the bedroom - doors and windows tightly closed, with the A/C going. Doesn't totally suck - but there will be no fishing tonight.
