  • Sea Turtles

I've been fishing Galveston all my life, and the last few years I have seen an abundance of sea turtles. I've had them cruising my lights out at the dike feeding on jellies, at roll over working the eddies, and the ship channel.

It's good to see them making a comeback, I bet we see some tigers starting to show in our surf chasing after them.

I saw one back in the marsh a couple weeks ago and I remember a post a while back where a guy took a picture of one.

              Sea Turtles

When I get to my laptop, I'll post a pic of a green sea turtle I caught back in 2009 while flounder fishing near GYB

A friend of mine found a loggerhead turtle on sea isle beach...TAMUG said it was the first reported anywhere near that stretch of beach.

Had a small one go bobbing along by me in the surf at access #5.
                  Pretty cool to see.

                        Sea Turtles

Caught this logger head on camera at roll over yesterday evening. It was working the eddy on the gulf side.

Not sure, I wasnt able to get off the couch in time to go see. Buddy's mom found her first during her morning run, then my friends who were staying with us strolled up on the golf cart. Before they could come get us and get back the TAMUG crew had taken her off...
