Water clarity tonight has been fair at best. The winds were out of the NE when I got here then shifted to the SE around midnight. Lots of yellow tails in the lights with a few specks mixed in. As of 2 AM I have 4 keepers to 18 inches.

The tankers wrecked havoc again last night. We are moving a lot more product than I can ever remember. In the past, I would see maybe 2 tankers and a few barges a night. Now its 2 to 3 tankers every couple of hours. Fracking is making the U.S. the fossil fuel capitol of the world.

My son is headed out that way now..Just since they dredged the ships have deeper drafts.Cause more swells.Getting swells where you use to not get em.

Bubba Kenner and I were out in that area and the tankers were coming in 3 at a time plus barges, made for a rough ride.
