Unless you have a boat, you'd have a helluva time getting there since it is fenced now along Bob Smith Road and fences mean NO Trespassing under Texas law. Pull out your Hot Spot or whatever that map is that Academy sells and it'll give you some info-there are some dredge channels in there and geotubes. can be a good area, depending on the wind and tides. Good luck and good fishing.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

They just put a new fence up all the way to the bay so there is no more walk in access from Jamaica beach. As far as fishing goes you may be able to pick up a few but its pretty inconsistent. Usually better in the late summer or fall. Ive gotten into the Rat reds in the back a few times but not very many slots and I fish it a lot because it's close to home. Best bet to head west towards slp prob. Post a report and good luck!

thanks a bunch! I have a 14 ft jon boat. There is also a live bait shop in the subdivision. The owner says there is a boat ramp usable by the public? thanks for more info in advance.
